My Story

Hey there! I'm Peter Scroggins, a family guy with a passion for software sales that's been going strong for more than 11 years.

My journey started in a not-so-typical way—I dropped out of high school to dive into retail sales, selling things like digital cameras and jewelry. Later, I hit the books at Bellevue College and the University of Washington, studying a mix of pre-medical sciences, business information systems, and computer science. Balancing college life, I also worked full-time as a bartender to pay my way through.

Post-graduation, my career took off at a nimble startup, where I was employee #5. Over time, I ascended to the role of Director of Sales, spearheading the launch of cutting-edge SaaS data and AI/ML products. This experience laid the foundation for my journey into individual contributor roles, where I successfully navigated the diverse landscapes of finance and security software in the commercial space.

My leadership acumen blossomed as I transitioned into a sales leadership position, leading a team focused on serving startups. The pinnacle of this journey was marked by the acquisition of my employer for a staggering $6 billion. Post-acquisition, my focus shifted to infrastructure SaaS sales, particularly in the data & AI/ML domain, where I've spent years navigating the intricate terrain of enterprise sales.
